Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Locum Tenens Opportunity in MA

Overview:
Full-time Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation locum coverage at a rehab hospital in East Sandwich, MA, Mon–Fri days with periodic weekend call.

Schedule & Coverage:
Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 8-hour shifts, full-time only. Weekend call approximately 1 in every 7 weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Title: MD. On Call: Yes.

Work Details:
Facility Type: Rehab Hospital. EMR: Epic. Average Daily Census: 15. Procedures: No procedures. Admissions and discharge responsibilities. Provider rounds on patients signed to him/her and assists the house officer with needs before leaving. Flexible on locum doing more of an attending role versus consultant role, as it may flip during the assignment.

Requirements:
Board Certification: Current BC required (no lapse). State License: MA. DEA: Yes. Minimum Experience: 1 year minimum required.

Credentialing:
3 to 6 months; temps are a possibility. Willing to License: Not ideal — MA board has been taking 3–4 months. Client is open to a temp-to-perm license.

Compensation & Travel:
OT rate is the same as the regular rate. Holidays are 1.4x. First 8 hours of orientation are non-billable. When there is 24-hour call, there are 4 hours gratis. Weekend call days: 4 hours gratis each day. Travel: hotel, flight, and rental car.
