Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (flexible)
Coverage: Inpatient rehabilitation medicine
Schedule: Full time, Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00
Call: About 1 in 7 weekends (Saturday and Sunday rounding on assigned patients and assisting the house officer)
Volume: Average daily census of about 15
Practice Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation hospital
Patient Population: Adults

• Admissions, rounding, and discharges for inpatient rehab patients
• Attending or consultant role (may shift during the assignment)
• No procedures
• Documentation in Epic
• Travel covered: flight, hotel, and rental car

Requirements
• Current Board Certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (no lapse)
• Active Massachusetts license preferred
• DEA required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Credentialing: approximately 3–6 months; temporary privileges possible
