PM&R Physician – Houston, TX

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length:
• 1-year contract
• Full-time preferred
• Part-time candidates will also be considered

Available Specialties:
• Pediatric PM&R
• Brain Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
• Spine

Schedule:
• 7 days on / 7 days off
• Primarily 12-hour shifts (8-12 hours depending on census)
• No call
• Hospitalists provide overnight coverage

Top Highlights:
• Three full-time openings with flexibility for part-time coverage
• No call responsibilities with excellent work-life balance
• Academic teaching hospital with optional resident and fellow teaching
• APP support available throughout the inpatient units

Practice Details:
• Inpatient rehabilitation setting
• 8-14 patients per day
• Two APPs provide support across the units
• No required procedures
• EMR: TBD
• Fellowship preferred but not required

Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible PM&R Physician
• Active Texas medical license
• Active Texas DEA
• ACLS required
• PALS required
