Opportunity:
Physician - Psychiatry - Outpatient
Job Details:
- Full-time, permanent outpatient psychiatry position
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning, including history, examination, appropriate treatment, and referrals
- Coordinate inpatient care when patients require hospitalization
- Collaborate with consulting physicians, midlevel providers, nurses, support staff, patients, and families on treatment and care
- Make specialty and subspecialty referrals while maintaining continuity of care
- Participate in health promotion, prevention, and quality improvement activities
- Complete medical records in a timely and professionally detailed manner
- Attend required in-services and health center meetings
Requirements:
- Unencumbered Illinois medical license (MD or DO)
- Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
- Current BLS certification
- Telepsychiatry experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive
- Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress clinical environment
