NEW Inpatient Behavioral Psychiatry position in North Carolina! ( Start ASAP )

Hello,

There is a new position for an Psychiatry position in North Carolina starting in December 2024.

• Support staff: 3 APPs in UC/obs unit, either an APP or resident in the FBC, APP in each ED (MC and WL)
• Coverage Type: Scheduled x No call
• Schedule Details: 5 days per week Mon-Fri 8a-5p no weekends
Work Details:
• EMR/Charting Software: EMR
• Vaccines Mandatory?
• Avg. Daily Census: average group size is 6 pts, UC average 10-20
• Patient Age Group: UC: 5+ age, if under the age of 16 and need observation/FBC, will go to a different facility apart from the Guilford County Center.
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Psychiatry
• State License(s): NC
• Certifications: BLS
• DEA Req’d?: Required
• Years of Experience Req’d: Must feel comfortable triaging children and adolescents.
Credentialing Timeframe:
Willing To License?: No
• OT: $ 1.5 x normal rate
• Holiday: $ - 1.5 x normal rate – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day [00:00 – 23:59]
