Aya Locums is seeking a Psychiatrist for PRN locums coverage in Eugene, Oregon! This opportunity offers flexible dates throughout 2027, no call requirements, and a collaborative inpatient behavioral health setting.

Opportunity Highlights:

PRN coverage opportunities throughout 2027

11-hour shifts: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM

Coverage blocks may run Tuesday–Monday, with alternating weekly schedules

No call required

Adult inpatient psychiatry

Approximately 32–35 bed behavioral health unit

Rounding and admissions

Collaborative team environment — not a solo position

Epic EMR

Fast-track privileges may be available for qualified candidates

Current coverage approval through June 2027, with extension requested

Clinical Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments

Manage adult inpatient psychiatric patients

Perform daily rounds and admissions

Develop and adjust treatment plans

Collaborate with the inpatient behavioral health team

Provide ongoing psychiatric care and documentation

Requirements:

Physician specializing in Psychiatry

Active Oregon medical license strongly preferred

IMLC accepted; highly qualified licensing candidates may be considered

BLS certification required

Epic experience preferred

Recent inpatient or consultative psychiatry experience

Ability to demonstrate at least 30 relevant patient encounters within the past 24 months, or qualifying recent residency, fellowship, or research experience
