✨ Locums Opportunity – Addiction Medicine Physician
📍 Washington

We are seeking a dedicated Addiction Medicine Physician to join a collaborative care team for a full-time locums assignment starting ASAP through October, with potential for extension.

🕒 Schedule & Call
Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
📞 Light pager call (phone only) ~2 evenings per week
💰 Overtime available after 40 clinical hours/week
🏥 Practice Setting
100% Adult Population
80% Inpatient / 20% Outpatient Mix
14-bed sub-acute/residential detox unit
Voluntary detox + outpatient OUD clinic
Higher-acuity cases supported at nearby campus
EMR: Epic
📊 Patient Volume (Estimated)
🧑‍⚕️ Outpatient: ~6 patients/day
🏨 Inpatient: ~14 patients/day
➕ Admissions: ~2/day
👥 Team-Based Care
3 Physicians
2 Advanced Practice Providers (no supervision required)
Full support staff: RNs, SUDPs, CNAs, Manager
💼 Key Responsibilities
Medical management of detox (opioids & alcohol)
Work within a multidisciplinary, supportive environment
Provide care in a sub-acute/residential setting
✅ Qualifications
Board Certified or Fellowship-trained in Addiction Medicine
Experience in inpatient, sub-acute, or residential detox settings
BLS Certification required
Strong familiarity with:
Librium
Suboxone
Methadone
Sublocade
Subutex
