Addiction Counselor Media, PA
We are looking for an Addiction/Treatment Counselor for our medical facility in Media, PA. We are seeking an experienced licensed clinician who has a master’s degree or above from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field which includes a practicum in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting. If the practicum did not take place in a drug and alcohol setting, the individual’s written training plan shall specifically address a plan to achieve counseling competency in chemical dependency issues. We are looking for an individual who either have Certifications (CADC/CAADC) or a license (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT of PhD/Psy.D), and has experience with Addiction Treatment and group facilitation. This is a full-time position, with clinical responsibilities at either (or both) of our facilities within Center City Philadelphia and Media, PA.

Duties:
• Patient care- Treatment Counseling
• Formulating required clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards, The Joint Commission and/or other licensing body standards
• Documenting services provided in legible, timely, individualized and, if applicable, computerized manner
