Radiation Oncologist Needed in KY (will license-IMLC only)

Job description

I have a client in Madisonville, KY who's looking for a Radiation Oncologist for locum coverage starting in December. Here are some of the job details.

13-week assignment with the option to extend

Shift Details: Full-time, Day Shift, Call Coverage required

M-F 8 am-4:30 pm, call is required according to bylaws

• Support staff: 1 Full-time Physicist, 1 full-time Certified Dosimetrist, Lead Radiation Therapist + 2 other Full-time radiation therapists and a prn,
RN supports the on treatment and clinic patients, 2 Nurse Navigators, Full Time onsite Licensed Social Worker and Dietician, Financial Support Services
•Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time
•Patients per day: 15, CT Sims 3 days a week; Average a couple per day
•Patient population/age: Varies
•Department description: We have one Linear Accelerator, which is a Varian TrueBeam, Eclipse the Radiation Planning system, Aria is the Radiation EMR
•EMR: Epic
•Special procedures: External Beam 3D radiation therapy, Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) , CT Simulation
•Skills required: proficient in Aria and EPIC

Requirements:
•Board Certification: required
•State license required: KY license required unless IMLC is an option
•DEA: required
•Certifications/Fellowship required: ACGME or AOA, post-grad training program in radiation oncology
•Minimum experience required: would prefer 2 Years

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

Willing To License?: No unless IMLC is an option
