The center is equipped with the Aria treatment planning system and is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians during short-term day shift coverage periods.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide clinic-based radiation oncology services on a day shift schedule at this on-site facility in Uvalde, Texas, with no call, weekend, or holiday requirements. Daily responsibilities include managing approximately 15 patients per day, with an estimated 3 follow-up visits per day and no new consults. Treatment modalities delivered include 3D conformal radiation therapy, IMRT, and SBRT, with treatment planning supported by the Aria system. The clinician will serve as the sole physician during the coverage period and will be supported by a full complement of clinical staff.
