Assignment Length: 52 Weeks
Position Overview
We have an immediate opening for a Remote Locum Radiologist to provide coverage for a West Virginia-based acute care facility. This is a fully remote opportunity with no call required. Physicians with an active West Virginia license are encouraged to apply, and IMLC candidates are accepted. We are willing to assist with licensing for qualified providers.
Schedule & Coverage
Shift Type: Scheduled Coverage – No Call
Shift Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Minimum Requirement: 40 hours per month
Assignment Length: 52 weeks
Work Setting: Remote Teleradiology
Position Responsibilities
Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound
Provide accurate and timely reports to referring providers
Collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnosis and patient management
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences as needed
Adhere to quality assurance and patient safety protocols
Perform subspecialty reads based on experience (if applicable)
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology and imaging modalities
Excellent analytical and interpretive skills
Clear and effective communication
High attention to detail in documentation and reporting
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Proficiency with RIS and PACS systems
Education & Training
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of Diagnostic Radiology residency (ACGME or AOA accredited)
Fellowship training preferred but not required
License & Certifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology (ABR or AOA)
Active West Virginia license preferred
IMLC accepted
Willing to license qualified candidates
Experience
Minimum one year of post-training experience preferred
Subspecialty experience welcomed
