Urology in Western PA - 24 hour call shifts

Job description

Monday-Friday 7a-7a
1-2 weeks (4-8 shifts) per month
24-hour weekday call, Monday starting at 7a and ending Friday at 7a.
• EMR: Cerner – inpatient; GE centricity – outpatient (to review patient records if admitted)

• Hospital bed size: 228

• Special procedures:
Possibly cystoscopy and or stent placement for hematuria
Kidney stone treatment with possible extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy
Torsion of testicle – (rare occurrence)
UTI
Consultation with ED or other providers for Foley Catheter placement
**Rounding if the locum performs procedure and patient is in house
